Courts and the Judiciary
For any member of the public, even if they are innocent, guilty, or just attending court to support a loved one, it is often a very traumatic event and can lead, and often does, to stopping individuals from attending court. We hope that by explaining how the court process system works within the Magistrates Court, the Crown Court, the Courts of Appeal, the Family Court, or Youth Courts, in order so that we can help to alleviate some of the fears so that the process of court can work.
Each day people across the UK attend jury duty or service, turn up as key witnesses, or attend court to face the judge for a criminal offence and yet very few go prepared. We hope that by providing information from others and professional people who have been through and work within the judicial system that we can offer advice and guidance that can help someone attending court. Our organisation has also created a micro mini site, within our company structure, for every Court building in the UK, but unfortunately we only have limited basic information such as location, opening hours and contact numbers, but we do hope to expand on that information in the future.
