It is often said by most individuals who have served a prison sentence and then returned home that the real problems of having a criminal conviction then truly begin. Most people know that it is very difficult to find employment after leaving prison, and depending on the nature of the crime, the individual may have to completely alter their whole way of life.

 

Often another major hurdle is basic insurance needs such as car insurance, travel insurance and household and property insurance etc. The individual will probably find that the price of their insurance premium will have risen dramatically since their conviction and custodial sentence. It is also worth noting that if the individual doesn’t make their insurance broker aware of their criminal conviction their insurance is basically invalid. But since the launch of our organisation we now work in conjunction with a number of insurance organisations that cater for the needs of those with criminal convictions.
