With the UK prison population having now having passed the boundary of 80,000 serving inmates plus, most prison establishments are under a lot of pressure from the different authorities and organisations, the inmates themselves, prison officers alike, and the families of those serving a prison sentence in many areas such as overcrowding, drugs, poor hygiene conditions, food, family visits, and information about a loved one in general, and many other areas that relate to prison and prison life.

 

Through this area of our site we aim to provide information in sentence planning, prison induction, courses available to inmates through education and rehabilitation courses, distance learning programmes, security categories, prison visits and information in general. Our organisation has also created a micro mini site on the 180 plus establishments in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Channel Islands.
